Are productions like that only illegal if they charge? I was under the impression that they were illegal with or without profit, but this video made a point of saying in the description "sin fines de lucro" (not-for-profit).
And in comparison with a lot of the amateur Wicked productions that get put on, the production quality of this looks pretty high haha.

Totally illegal. Doesn't matter if you charge or not. Doesn't matter if it's "for profit" or not.
Lincoln Center and Roundabout are "not-for-profit" theatres. You think they don't have to pay royalties?

This is a Argentinian production and it seems fairly legit from the translation. The choreographer is fairly well known. I dig the reverse Spanglish.
I can't tell if this is a full production though, maybe it's just a review?

And they're not the only school to do Wicked in Mexico. The wicked one get more press. And yes it is illegal, but "if a murderer escaped to Canada..."

"They'd send him right back."
Not necessarily. Canada will not extradite if the death penalty is possible.
