HAMILTON's Digital Lottery--Just for the Winter
When the Public Theater was going digital lottery for hamilton they were getting 7000 entrants a day. It makes perfect sense that this digital lottery would get 50,000 entrants regularly. Everyone who lives within 3 hours of the city can enter and arrive in time. Think of the thousands of people who work until 6pm, and could never attend a lottery in person, but can now enter digitally. Digital lotteries are detrimental to those who make the concerted effort to visit the theatre and enter.

The publicity to stunt cast Teen Angel will be enough to follow the same live event formula, regardless of who Sandy and Danny will be. And the changes in Grease between movie and stage are no more or less than SOM. NBC even marketed SOM Live as "the stage version" as one of its features.

I do know after SOM, which is the most licensed musical in the United States, Grease is one of the next highest if not the second highest.

I would have put Marin Ireland in MARIE ANTONETTE on the list. Was certainly the theatrical event of the season for me. The night I went Jakes Gyllenhaal and Jeff Goldblum were on the list, and was sold out several extensions.
