Is This from "The Little Mermaid"?

Is This from

According to the anonymous person who emailed this picture, it is from "The Little Mermaid". If so, what scene or musical number is it??

I'm almost certain that it isn't from the show. I'm sure someone who has seen it can confirm.
I have several names, one is Julian2. I am also The Opps Girl. But cross me, and I become Bitch Dooku!

there isn't water in the show. Or flying mermaids - so probably not. But, to be honest, with a clear acrylic you could get that look. I'm pretty sure that's not from the show.

Not that I'm aware of. On another board a patron who attended the show made this above mockup of what the mermaid costumes resemble. He said that when they were "underwater" the mounted up tail was much more visible, and that his picture did not do the design justice.

I don't know what that picture depicts, but it sure as hell ain't anything in TLM.

The picture that wes posted is exactly what the mermaids look like. The first picture isn't from the musical, unless i just forgot about the wall of water that appeared on stage lol.

There was a thread about this a while ago and I am almost certain that is not from the show.

The first pic is a pretty good representation of what all the mermaids, including Ariel, look like. The actresses' legs are hidden by skirts and the fins are suspended somehow behind them. It takes some getting used to, but I ended up really liking the effect.

On Sierra's MySapce, she has a pic with the actresses who play her sisters and the woman playing Flounder's mom. Where is she in the musical??

All the mermaids look like that. It takes a bit of time getting used to it, but it works.

Call me a skeptic but I don't think that's from the stage show. Looks like some Weeki Wachee affair maybe at a casino somewhere.

jacob, posting your question twice in less than an hour won't get it answered any faster.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

This was on Sierra's MySpace. It probably isn't from LM. But I wanted to see anyway... would it be for Flotsam and Jetsam?? Could it be from the shark that chases Ariel in the film... if it was in the musical...

Call me crazy, but I don't think that's used in the musical at all. It might be in the lobby or something...

re: Is This from 'The Little Mermaid'?

Hey everyone, I'm the one who posted that picture of the Ariel with the skirt. Thats honestly how it looks, and the comment about Flounder's mom. She meant that Amy Hanford (the bigger curly haired woman) was in the picture, and Cody Hanford plays Flounder, so it's a picture of all the girls playing the sisters, and Amy. Not that Flounder's mom was in it, and the first picture is NOT from the production.
