According to the anonymous person who emailed this picture, it is from "The Little Mermaid". If so, what scene or musical number is it??

Posted: 7/31/07 at 12:17pmthere isn't water in the show. Or flying mermaids - so probably not. But, to be honest, with a clear acrylic you could get that look. I'm pretty sure that's not from the show.

Not that I'm aware of. On another board a patron who attended the show made this above mockup of what the mermaid costumes resemble. He said that when they were "underwater" the mounted up tail was much more visible, and that his picture did not do the design justice.

Posted: 7/31/07 at 1:35pmThe first pic is a pretty good representation of what all the mermaids, including Ariel, look like. The actresses' legs are hidden by skirts and the fins are suspended somehow behind them. It takes some getting used to, but I ended up really liking the effect.

This was on Sierra's MySpace. It probably isn't from LM. But I wanted to see anyway... would it be for Flotsam and Jetsam?? Could it be from the shark that chases Ariel in the film... if it was in the musical...

Posted: 8/7/07 at 3:06amHey everyone, I'm the one who posted that picture of the Ariel with the skirt. Thats honestly how it looks, and the comment about Flounder's mom. She meant that Amy Hanford (the bigger curly haired woman) was in the picture, and Cody Hanford plays Flounder, so it's a picture of all the girls playing the sisters, and Amy. Not that Flounder's mom was in it, and the first picture is NOT from the production.
