Well JoeKV99, it was a fabulous purse. Who can blame you? Besides, it matched your outfit better than hers.
"For me, THEATRE is an anticipation, an artistic rush, an emotional banquet, a jubilant appreciation, and an exit hopeful of clearer thought and better worlds."
~ an anonymous traveler with Robert Burns
i just dont get it though...if you write a thought out letter congratulating them with all their hard work and in a P.S. say,
"sorry but i hate to be a pain if you could please take the time out of your very busy schedule to autograph a headshot for me i would be forever grateful. Thank you." where is the harm in that?
I have gotten many things back in the mail who personally signed headshots for me, thanking me for their letter.
Well it was a Pucci, which those of us old enough to recall, could be a bit much, but really, who looks better with a fluorescent, psychedelic bag? A downtrodden 60-something grey haired woman or an overweight, pimple-faced teen flushed with excitement on his first trip to NYC? Thanks to all you who agreed with me!!
And I loved the way she called after me "Stop, thief! Stop him he took my bag!" which was our little code for "Thanks for all the kind words--it's so good to be appreciated!" That Renie, always a joker!
I always send SASE's so that may be the problem if you didn't. But patience is virtue. Good things come to people who wait... Those are all I got. lol.
This puzzles me, too. I never got the stagedoor, autograph thing either. I like the performances, but I don't think the performers owe anyone anything beyond what they do in front of the curtain. Just the way I am...
"And the postman sighed as he scratched his head, you really rather thought she ought to be dead..."
