The "Hey Mr. Producer" album aside, is there one out there? I checked on Amazon and couldn't find one. Thanks!

I think it's reassuring it actually exists, though :P.

But it's ridiculously expensive, at least from what I've seen on eBay.

Give me claws and a hunch, just away from this bunch.

So expensive but so worth it. I paid through the nose for a cassette recording of it a number of years ago that I treasure to this day.

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body

When the CD pops up on eBay, it can usually go for $90-$200. I fortunately got mine on the lower end of the scale.

Ever since I got it, it's the version I listen to most, especially since it includes the dialog for "Weekend In The Country".

It was only in print for a short while (and only sold at the theatre and probably a few select stores in London), as it incorporated changes in the show that Sondheim did not want recorded (if memory serves me correctly).

Link provided below for more info on the recording.
