Maureen Moore does one of the BEST Charlott's I have EVER seen.
Glynnis Johns does a very fine Madame Armfeldt nowadays-she did it somewhere (L.A.?)

Just a couple of ideas, not that anyone is asking me.

My opinion, Close will be fine and will bring a certain amount of temperment to the role that it needs.
