It's Only A Day AAAAAAAWAY

Posted: 11/26/07 at 11:38pmtomorrow I am going (might, depends on you guys lol)to purchase YF tickets online, I am willing to spend max 250 a ticket. Will I find a good seat for that price? As long as i am not in row X or Z i would be happy. BUT i am posting this thread cause I dunno if I would like the show. I am not a huge mel brooks fan. I did love Spamalot though (drools to Tim Curry). I enjoyed Mamma Mia, Curtains, and Mary Poppins as well. I read alot of reviews. The music does not really appeal to me. I did like Roll In da Hay. I think Mel Brooks has a big ego. I dont think that is bad cause he is talented but i dunno. Right now I only want to see it cause of the cast. I dont really see any other shows on the horizon that would intrest me, besides Billy Elliott. Any opinions are welcomed! Thx, And hoped you had a great Turkey Day

Yea, I wouldn't think twice about going for the really expensive seats, I mean $250 for a show you will never forget?
Go for it, how many chances will you have to see this amazing cast? Years from now you can tell your great-nephews and great-nieces you blew more money on a theatre ticket than it would cost to feed all of Ethiopia for a month!
And you can say, as you are watching Will and Grace on TVLand, Yes, I saw those titties live, and it was worth every hundreds of dollars!
Or, you could save your money, stage door it, meet the cast and just TELL everyone you saw it.

Posted: 11/27/07 at 9:22am$250 would be fine for an excellent show (though I would NEVER pay that much). Young Frank is not an excellent show - its not even a good show. Save your money.

Posted: 11/27/07 at 9:31amThere is a $25 ticket lottery before EVERY show. Why on earth would you pay that much to see a show?

Why don't you save all your show ticket money to help Ethiopia before you preaching to bundy5000?

Being a huge Mel Brooks fan AND a huge fan of the film YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN -- I was disappointed in the musical adaption.
Ugh = boring = lame songs = lamer weak production numbers = yawn
Totally worth $25 lottery tickets or standing room. Not worth $50 a ticket even. $125.00 tickets? Not on your life!

Posted: 11/27/07 at 12:29pmBy the way, it looks like the premium tix are NOT selling well, and those tickets are often released at 'regular' price ($120 per) a few days before the show.

Posted: 11/27/07 at 10:46pmYou've probably done what you're going to do, but even if you WERE a Mel Brooks fan, the show isn't worth it. If you're not a Mel Brooks fan, it would be highway robbery. But it's probably too late to throw in my two cents.

Posted: 11/28/07 at 12:18amnope i came home from my program for (.....embarrassed cause im a guy)my Eating Disorder. I had to do some catch up work and i kinda forgot about purchasing tickets. I will not buy them now. I am thinking about going to see Mamma Mia again. I know, not another good choice but I have loved ABBA for sooo long. How can i resist it?

Posted: 11/28/07 at 12:27amMay I humbly suggest, if you're looking for a fun, fast-paced musical, that you check out Xanadu? I've seen it 6 times already and it's one of the most enjoyable shows I've ever seen -- ahd I go back to 1955.
