I have been checking all the sites and nothing has shown up yet. AR Hasn't even done a presale. I know it's early and they could still come any day but is there a very big chance considering the cast? I really want to see this when I'm in town this September and want to get the best price possible. Any tips?
I would assume that there wouldn't be any reason for a discount considering the cast but odder things have happened, I guess. :P
I do not expect any discounts to ever appear for this unless it gets totally panned. I bought my tickets the day after they went on sale. Full price, but not outrageous.
I think I will just spring for full price. I don't want to miss this and I absolutely adore everyone in the cast.
And MY luck is usually to hold out, break down and get tix without a discount, just for the deals to show up the very next day. Since that DIDN'T happen this time, I'm thinking that's proof there won't be any discounts! ??
I think them adding an extra week to a strictly limited engagement, and it happening in previews, as opposed to the end of the run (where they can usually get more money for premium) sounds like advance sales are strong. It also sounds like someone (maybe more than one?) in the cast isn't able to extend. If there is a discount, I figured it would be like those Hedwig discounts early in previews, a few scattered mezz seats I wasn't interested in...

I'm going to hold off to see whether there will be a general rush or lottery. Also, it's at the Schoenfeld, which usually offers standing room.
