Ok, so I just got my new Jekyll & Hyde cd yesterday and the big sticker on the front said something about an upcoming movie. Now, I know there was rumor a while back about a movie but I didn't think anything was ever confirmed. If it was confirmed awsome, where can I read about it, if not thatnks for clearing things up.
PS- If there is a movie which score do you think will be used or do you think they will rework the score AGAIN

I'm sure they'll rework the score again, probably again for the worse.
That said, I'd love to see Sam Mendes pick up the project. Or Tim Burton, assuming Sweeney is a success. J&H is my guily pleasure.

In order for my life to be fully complete, I'm going to need them to restore "I Need To Know", "Girls Of The Night", and "Bring On The Men" for the movie version.

According to Frank, via a recent interview, it's happening but a ways off.
Here's what they know so far:

Seriously, JailyardGuy.
Also, I liked it when the pub proprietor originally sang Good and Evil, though it did bog down the show, which is was why it was cut after the world premiere. It fit his character well.

I think they should put an Ederavaganza in the movie, and make Lucy sing both "Good N'Evil" AND "Bring On The Men".
And maybe find a way to work in Vienna.

Maybe the sticker is referring to the David Hasselhoff DVD Version of the musical

I can not wait for this
... But somehow I don't think Linda will be involved... Like Sarah Brightman and PHANTOM.

As long as David Hasselhof is not in it.

Don't forget "The World Has Gone Insane"
"Shut up! It's been 29 years!!!" --the incomparable Patti LuPone in her MUCH DESERVED Tony acceptance speech for Gypsy.

They wouldn't DARE put Hasslehoff in the movie!!!
I'm just worried that they would totally ruin my favorite moment in the show - Confrontation - with really cheesy CGI effects.

I highly doubt that Hoff will be anywhere near this. As much as I'd like to see Linda in this, I don't think that will be happening either.
I just hope they don't screw this up cast wise.
As far as music goes, I love the idea of having Bring on the Men and Good and Evil!
