I love this musical. The CD really left out a lot of material/musical sequences etc. Does anyone know if they ever plan on making a complete recording?

Also I think there is a Canadian cast recording out there somewhere. I've looked in some places, but I don't see it anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find it or if it's out of print or if someone has it they can make a copy for me... thanks for the help.

The Candaian recording has been out of print for a while. Every now and then, it pops up on ebay. I would also love to hear a complete recording. I saw the show and loved it. It defintely deserved a longer run.

i doubt that they'll ever make a complete recording of the broadway cast but I understand there IS one of the canadian cast....sorry, though, I don't know where you could get it ...but if you find it, you HAVE to let me know :)

I didn't necessarily mean a complete recording of the original Broadway cast, but Jay Records releases complete studio cast recordings of shows all the time and JANE EYRE deserves a complete recording!

Hi there!
Great to read your post, as Jane Eyre is my most favorite show. Sadly, there are no plans to make a more complete recording, as the cast is all scattered now. There IS a Toronto CD out there, but since it's out of print, the only way to get a copy is to find an occasional one on ebay. If you love the show, we still have a Jane Eyre message board where a bunch of us talk about it all the time... come check us out and say hi. We talk about the show and projects that the original cast are involved in. Marla just did a show last night...musicals of 1949..and was AWESOME! James Barbour is in Assassins, and Jayne Paterson (Helen) is going to be in Lizzie Borden: The musical soon in Boston.
