I love me some Julie Reiber
. She's fantastic and has one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard. I loved her in Brooklyn.
re: JULIE REIBER#6
Posted: 3/27/07 at 6:45pmI first saw Julie in All Shook Up, I went to see her play Natalie (and saw her in the ensemble quite a bit). She was great, and I'm glad that she is finding so much success in so many shows!

Lightguy, you can't really try to see her persay.
She's not an alternate... only a standby.
... so unless you posion Eden, you're stuck.

She went on as Elphaba with very little rehearsal and people said she was a natural.
Not that I didn't expect that when I first heard she was cast. She's amazing.

DRSislove, what i mean by TRY and see her, is go to the show specifically when she is performing. I have a friend who works for the pantages box office, and he has promised to call me when he finds out that Eden has called out, and hopefully I will be free that night to run over to the theatre!
Oh, and i know there are other shows than wicked, thank you very much! I will admit, the majority of the stuff I post about has to do with wicked, just because I know alot about the show and the actors in it and such... I will say tho, that i cant wait for the HiFi cast recording(i was there for opening night) and Spring Awakening is one of my favorite shows! as is cabaret, Dirty rotten scoundrels, west side story, urinetown, batboy, working,AVENUE Q... and the list goes on

she looks kinda weird there since shes extremely - must be the overexcitment. i think she studied opera in college. she was also joanna in sweeny todd a while back

Posted: 3/29/07 at 5:11pmI sent her a fan email a while back asking her about her carrear with opera. She told me that she is a mezzo but depending on the role she can do soprnao. And that she still can sing it but she hasn't been booking much legit style work these days. This was whe she was still in brooklyn so I imagen she still can do some operatic singing. Are there any clips of her singing operatically out there that anyone knows of?

Posted: 3/29/07 at 5:24pmI loved her as Natalie in All Shook Up. Saw her the final time I saw the show, her "Fools Fall In Love" was fantastic. She was great. I'm listening to her "Wizard and I" now and she sounds fantastic.
