When I saw Suffs, one of my prevailing thoughts was that the show went very hard on Alice Paul because people criticize Hamilton for being too nice to him and they were trying their absolute hardest to avoid that. (I have no idea if all the criticism of her was deserved, I just observed it was present)
Wouldn't be surprised if it's the same thing here in response to glorification in other bio-jukebox musicals.
