She's sexy, and is amazingly talented, and I am a huge fan of hers. She has an incredible voice, and is absolutely gorgeous. I definitely think she should come back to Broadway and is completely under-rated. I guess she's sexy, but I just can't picture her as Carla.

I think that Jane Leeves as a replacement for Mary Stuart is ingenious... Jane is so talented as proved in CABARET. I would love to see that.

You forgot Audra Mcdonald and Kristin Chenoweth. You people are pathologically predictable. For the record, Sherie and Alice are basically interchangable. The look alike, sound alike, same age etc..And forgive me but, sexpots, they're not. I'm glad they're "stunt casting" it with Elfman. At least that should shut up the 10 people who say the same 5 names on EVERY thread on EVERY board! Buy an imagination for crissake. Amy Spanger? Why?

You will never see a picture of me on here for the simplest of reasons:

1. It's a message board and I like the anonymity.
2. I don't crave approval for the way I look from total strangers at all, let alone to the degree of having a different picture of myself next to my name every few days in a bid to get even more people to swoon over me.
3. I like to judge people on here from what they write and how they write it (for example, their grasp of grammar and spelling), not how they look. You would never catch me saying anything as facile as "well, your opinion doesn't really count as you don't have a picture of yourself on here."

Anyway- back to what the thread was originally about- I was thinking...about the irony of Tomei, Elfman, and Krakowski being linked together in the whole Nine/Sweet Charity deal. How about Marisa Tomei as Carla? I've never heard her sing, but she was originally in the Sweet Charity workshop, so obviously she had to be able to sing. She could play comedy, and is definitely gorgeous. I think a brunette like Marisa could work well in the role. What do you all think?

If Jane would stay w/ the production I'd make an attempt to see the show this coming December. But without her or Antonio, there's no real reason for me to see this show. They're the only two stars I wanted to see in the show in the first place.

Ya wanna talk stunt casting...

Karen Akers as Liliane LeFleur. She'd be the perfect Chita replacement.
