Does anyone have any info on why the Jasper in Deadland cast album isn't up on iTunes? CDs seem to be available now from Amazon and Sh-K-Boom per the scheduled release date, but there is no digital release. What gives?

The scheduled release date on Ghostlight's website is the 20th.

Oh! That's what I get for assuming the information on castalbums.org is correct. Although, it still appears as if CDs are in stock and shipping.

From what I've gathered, some people that have preordered have already received their albums on Monday. I ordered mine on Amazon, and it's supposed to get here today, and that's the release date on Amazon.com, but the digital release date is May 20th? I'm not entirely sure!

The whole release has been somewhat odd- it was recorded way back in December, but Ghostlight only added it to their website as a release in the last couple months. There was even a scheduled release concert at 54 Below in February, and Ryan Scott Oliver initially gave the release as February 12 on his site.
I'm just glad it's actually happening.

I always get worried when Sh-k-boom doesn't announce a release date and stick to it.
They have several shows that they picked up the recording rights to and announced, but have apparently been shelved.

That appears to have been the case with The Civilians' show, Pretty Filthy... which apparently was even recorded, but just sat on the website with placeholder art and a vague timeframe of release and has since vanished entirely.

I'm dying for that recording. Anything involving Michael Friedman I'm interested in.
They also had a cd with various songs from up and coming composers that I was really interested in. That was announced 2 years ago.
There was a third one too, but it's off the pre-order list and I forgot what it was.

Who is the cast on this Jasper recording, is it from Seattle?

It looks like the principals are from the Seattle cast, and the ensemble is drawn from both the off-Broadway and Seattle casts.
