Is anyone going to see this?

Are they really not doing rush? I cant imagine the theatre is full.

I thought I heard somewhere that they WERE doing rush.

And the show is supposed to be very good. When it opened off-Broadway last year, it got rave reviews.

BO said no rush until after it opens.

All the people from Broadway on Broadway said he was horrible, but it was a mixed environment.

I saw it the other night and found it to be enjoyable -- but I'm not sure that it's a great fit for a Broadway house.

I wasn't sure what I was going to think of the show. I like ventriloquism OK, but a little of it goes a long way. However, I thought it was a lovely little exploration of an art (yes, an art) that I knew nothing about. It was even a little creepy, as I had no idea about the "relationship" a ventriloquist had with his dummy partner.

I didn't see the initial reviews, so I don't know how this is going to be received this time around. The routines themselves were rather corny in spots, but I thought that was a part of the charm. That's also probably why it didn't go over well at Broadway on Broadway: They'd lose a lot when not part of a cohesive whole. And even then, I'd imagine some will walk away from the show thinking it dull, schmaltzy or pedantic. But I didn't.

Box office told me Rush starting on the first day of previews.

Saw it off-broadway and it was very entertaining. Not sure how well it will do in a larger house though. I'd go see it again, but not at full price.

i saw the show in Boston (pre-Broadway) and i have to say i'm in the minority by feeling that it was way too trite and hokey. there's moments when he starts defining sh*t for you out of the dictionary and it totally read off to me like a college kid reciting his class essay at a Six Flags Amusement Park.

Well, I'm not going. There are to many other shows to go see! (Butley, Martin Short, Lousing Louie, The Grinch, Blackbird, the Apple Tree, Beauty and the Beast w/Donny, and Chorus Line) But if I have extra time and money (Which I highly doubt) I'll go.
