Is there a new tour of Jekyll & Hyde going out or is it based on the production that played Broadway last year?
I believe it's a new production and not based on the previous Broadway incarnation. I think it starts performances soon in Milwaukee.
The scenery and costumes look closer to those used in the Broadway production rather than the last tour.

I have no idea. That was posted when the tour was first announced.
Yeah, the looks closely resemble the original Broadway production.
Those won't be the people on the tour. That's just a promo video for it. The tour will NOT resemble the most recent revival that played revival.
PM me if you'd like to know more specifics about what cities it's playing in.
That promo footage is from the 3rd National Tour back in 2001 - Non-equity (Guy Lemonnier starred in the title roles); the production will be more like the licensed version, and not a reincarnation of the not-so-well received revival (which didn't do so hot before B'way on the road either).

It's weird to have no info. I don't even know what cities it's playing. I just know they have a weird layout around the holidays.
There's a non-equity production of Jekyll & Hyde hitting Lubbock, Texas this weekend that I plan on seeing. I'm assuming it's this tour?
Elfuhbuh, you are correct. Same tour.
Awesome! I'm pretty excited now. :)
I'd post pictures of the set from a friend's page, but I have no clue how to do that. But looks like a nice production.
There's a short trailer for the tour now for anyone who is interested, featuring the talented Aleks Knezevich singing an excerpt from This Is the Moment. This kind of gives you an idea on what the tour looks like.
