Jennifer Garner's upcoming Musical?

I've been stewing over this a long time and have hinted in posts throughout the past about Jennifer Garner starring in a musical. Most of you probably didn't know she was actually classically trained in Ballet and has a GORGEOUS singing voice.

Just wondering, are there any Broadway shows up-and-coming that you think she'd be suited for?

Keep in mind, Jennifer really is one of the most down to earth people, especially about her career. I think honestly, if it were up to her, she'd take a smaller role (though I'm sure her agents, and equity would probably never allow it). But she has performing in her blood and always has...


Would love to see her (yet again) attatched to "Catch Me If You Can", and possibly Father of the Bride.

Actually...many of us did know that.

I think she would have made a smashing Nellie Forbush (though I'm very excited to see Kelly O'Hara).

Somebody either here or on TalkinBroadway commented on seeing Garner play Cassie in ACL (a university production?)and said she was terrific. Not that I'm saying she should go into the Broadway revival, but it might be fun to see her do something with some featured dance. Too bad the rights to IRMA LA DOUCE are in such a funk.

She'll be an ideal Charity in about 10 years (I prefer my Charities older).

Jennifer Garner is at a perfect age for Charity now. In 10 years her Charity would be like 46.

I didn't realize Garner was older than me! Who knew. She's so youthful.

Alright, perfect Charity in 5 years. I still think Charity needs a little wear and tear.

Exactly, why would Equity mind? Plus, she has been an Equity actress for a while, way before she hit it big with ALIAS.
I think she would be perfect in the NINE film, she played Italian great as Sydney Bristow. I would have loved seeing her as Carla.
If she were a D-celebrity, she could play Roxie Hart in the CHICAGO revival.
I believe she would make a great Sally Bowles in the CABARET revival.
Or if Encores! ever did ANYONE CAN WHISTLE she'd be fantastic as Nurse Apple--with Meryl Streep as Cora Hoover.

A MONTH IN THE COUNTRY at the Roundabout.
It stared Helen Mirren,F.Murray Abraham and Ron Rifkin.
She understudied Cathering Erbe but she never went on.
She was not Equity, it was when the Roundabout hired Non Union understudies, oh wait they still do, don't they?

Oh, I would love to see her in the CABARET revival :) That'd be fantastic.
She might return to doing more film and television work, though, once she's finished with CYRANO, so I probably wouldn't suspect another Broadway performance for the next couple years.
But hey, if she does, that'd be cool too!

I would love to see her starring in a brand new broadway musical. I would line up for tickets to get to see her in one.
