She did inspire the continuation of Effie's story after "AITYING." Effie's role originally ended there, and Michelle's story was stronger in the second act. Whether Bennett and his collaborators let her in on the process I dont know, and kind of doubt.

Posted: 12/5/06 at 4:35pmAll of the different life-imitating-art sort of stuff that goes along with the release of the movie is sort of hilarious. You've got Diana Ross and however she feels about the whole thing, the drama over the billing of Beyonce and Jennifer and all that, and then what the original cast members think of the whole thing.
