I am with you guys on the "YEAH B*TCHES!" thing.
It would make my life complete. And for the record I like "Listen" and "Love You I Do" equally. If they were both nominated, it would also make my life. Beyonce already had the chance to sing at the Oscars, so they should definitely give JHud a chance.

Posted: 12/30/06 at 7:50pmThe most likely Oscar nominees for Best Supporting Actress will be: Adriana Barraza (Babel), Rinko Kukuchi (Babel), Cate Blanchett (Notes on a Scandal), Catherine O'Hara (For Your Consideration) and Jennifer Hudson (Dreamgirls). I have seen all five and would vote for Hudson for sure. She acts and sings simultaneously and is definitely the "heart" of the movie. Blanchett is definitely overshadowed by Judi Dench in her film, O'Hara's film will likely be little seen, and the two Babel women will cancel each other out. Therefore, the Oscar will most likely go to Jennifer Hudson...and she should absolutely not mention Simon's name. He should not have the privilege of having his name mentioned (in any context) in a speech by an Academy Award winner.

Come to think of it, I think it would be really cool if she thanked Jennifer Holliday in a totally sarcastic way.
"I would like to thank Jennifer Holliday, first and foremost, for being so gracious and helpful throughout the course of making Dreamgirls."

Vivien Leigh did thank Jessica Tandy, although Jessica raised a fit that she hadn't been cast because she was considered by some not to be pretty enough and dissed Leigh in an interview as a "nymphomanicial no talent." But Vivien was gracious. I hope and pray that Jennifer will be too.
What film was this for?

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."
