Playbill.com has pics of Jerry Herman visiting The Drowsy Chaperone and that last pic has Jerry holding the record album and the caption says "A future man in chair?" Wouldn't that be a great idea????

Naw. I'd rather have Jerry just sit there for three hours and just tell stories. In his book he talks about cooking dinner for Ann Miller and Ethel Merman. Wouldn't you love to have been a fly on the wall for that dinner party?

Not to thread-jack (he wrote as he thread-jacked), but why hasn't the Kennedy Center honored Herman the way that they have done for Sondheim and Kander & Ebb and Bernstein?

Is it because he's too gay?
