I agree. I really like the show, but Jerry Springer is no longer present enough in the public's mind for the show to land the way it once did. Also, despite some great numbers, having re-listened to the cast recording recently, the joke gets old about half-way through.

Not only has this show lost any sense of currency, it was really never that good in the first place. At least book/lyrically. The music was, for the most part, pretty fantastic.

The book didn't make much sense to me, a lot like the actual show, but I have to agree about the music. I'd love to hear the songs live on stage in the U.S!
