I kinda rotate between who's my favorite. It changes from day to day. I agree with the cheers for Daniel's "Oh What a Night", JYL (just in general!

The show rocks like no show I've seen before! Saw it on Broadway in November. The Broadway audience's reaction was even better than the one in San Diego the year before.
Why I love it?
How can you not like the 4 Seasons' hits? Bob Gaudio is an incredible songwriter/musician! (In the words of Joey in JB, "He's a *$*$ genius!")
The Cast!
The minute Christian Hoff walks on stage--WOW! That guy has a great voice & he plays the tough Jersey guy perfectly!
John Lloyd Young: Well, he's got the voice that rivals Frankie Valli, and he's an amazing actor--still am amazed at how he played Valli from a young teenager to a matured guy who experienced a lot of heartache.
Daniel Reichard: Can a voice get much better? I can't quit playing "Cry for Me" daily! He nails it as young genius Bob Gaudio.
J. Robert Spencer: As the "Ringo" of the group, I think he was sensational. His portrayal of Nick Massi was incredible! Thought his performance really stood out during the big confrontation scene w/the guys.
Oh, yeah, did I mention how gorgeous these guys are??!?!?
I have tickets for July & hope to get back in late fall, too!!

Dan's rant at the end is about the old neighborhood. He could care less about the old neighborhood! It is funny but I prefer the boys who are proud to be from Jersey... that's just me though. Christian rocks as Tommy for that reason... he nailed that Jersey Italian! Not bad for a Swedish guy from Cali huh?
I just love that this is as close to "Sopranos; the musical" as possible... My dad loved it for that reason... the music of his generation helped too! It's a great family show... even though the language can get pretty rough at times.

I listen to the OBCR almost every day, I can't get enough of it.
I love all the guys. My favorites tends to rotate as well, right now I'm on myJ. Robert Spencer kick. lol. They're all so unbelievably sweet and talented and I can not wait to see this show. I already know I'm going to love it. How can I not? Those songs are the only thing getting me through doing Dining at work. lol
(Just trust me, it's the worst job possible.)

And has anyone noticed how much Broadway.com hates this show? Since its opening to huge reviews and major box office, it is still not on the Bway.com list of recommended shows on their home page. But Lestat and Tarzan are. What's that all about?

I got second row partial view, and I agree the stage is too high for the first few rows, but I loved the show regardless. The show was the highlight of my trip to NYC and I cannot praise it enough. I even bought a "Jersey Boys" baseball shirt before I left.
I am planning to return to NYC and I will make another trip to see Jersey Boys.
