This thread seems to have gotten my attention yet again, so let me address a few things. First off, thank you to everyone who has come to the show and had the time of their lives. It's truly an amazing experience every night.
First off, the bra being thrown on stage. Yes it happened, and it wasn't the first time. It was hilarious and it was very reminiscent of what Frankie and the rest of the guys actually went through in the 60s. There is no "breaking of character" in that section of the show (after Walk Like A Man). If we laugh or if we talk to eachother, it is simply in response to how the audience reacts. The show is directe that way. It happens to be one of my favorite moments in the show. To clarify another post that was made in relation, I never said "thats the hat trick for tonight." Marshall & Rick wrote a brilliant script and as an actor, if there is a pink elephant in the room (or bra for that matter), you comment on it, still using the lines you were given. The line at that point in the show is "well, that's the hat trick." When an item has been thrown on stage, and then I have to say that line, it's going to get a bigger laugh than normal, simply because of what has just happened. It is my duty as an actor in the play to present the play as written. I would never think of adding something that wasn't there when I was cast in the show. Leave that to Nathan Lane.
We are the cast that is playing Los Angeles, btw. We start there in mid-May and go till the top of August. What is happening before that and after that will be announced shortly.
Regarding the earthquake, oh yes we felt it. Some more than others. By some I mean, me, considering it was the first one I had ever experienced. It came right after "Cry For Me" when Frankie stops Tommy from slapping him. We did try to continue, but the audience was too affected by it. I put my hand up, and we took a minute break. No biggy, as I have learned.
Lastly, regarding my making a connection with someone in the audience, I would like to start a website called TheErichConnection.com in which you can log in, identify yourself as someone who I caught eyes with, and then I can judge that person in full light. Because, as you may know, one not can not see any details past the first row when on stage. If you would like to fill out an application, just come to the show, and if it seems that we have had a "moment", fill out a form in the lobby. Until then, I'm quite satisified sticking with Ms. Seiden. Any problems with that please speak to her directly.

Here is someone, who has a passion and a love for theater, and has found not only a hobby, but an art form, and a line of work in covering his local theater world. When I did the interview with Eugene, he was more professional than some of the "professional" writers I have been interviewed by. Here is someone who had obviously done his research, asked fantastic and interesting questions, and more imporantly, had a passion for what he was writing about. How dare anyone attack him for doing something he loves. When is it wrong to use your advantages to your advantage.
My doing Green Room Radio is the exact same thing. Many of my guests were friends of mine, and others were people I got to know from ushering at events, or selling t shirts and programs at Wicked.
To whomever it was that I wrote the things they did about Eugene, get a clue.

I'm relieved that you weren't upset over any of the comments in here. =)
I didn't read Eugene's comments either before he removed them, but I've read many of his articles in the past and truly enjoyed them. Eugene, if you're reading this, keep up the amazing work! I love reading all your articles about various theatre happenings in the Bay Area.

We haven't seen you in the thread for a while. Hope you're enjoying your time in SF and experiencing some of the things the city by the bay has to offer during your downtime. I love the show and try to catch every time I'm back in the city. It gives me a good escape from the stress associated with school.
I saw what Eugene wrote in those messages before they were takendown and was glad to read some of it, not so glad about others. And Eugene if you read this I hope you're still going to post that interveiw because I was looking forward to it.

Saw the show again yesterday's matinee, front row center. Man, it's been a long time since I gave a standing ovation, but I had to yesterday.
I love this show, guys. The best part? I graduate Berkeley in mid-May and get to go home to Los Angeles. How perfect is that???

I finally saw he show last night. I was sitting in the rush seats, 2nd seat from the end, right by the spiral staircase. LOVED IT! What an amazingly talented cast and production. I had my doubts as I'm not always a fan of "jukebox" musicals. But this didn't feel like one at all.
Some people come into our lives and quietly go, others stay a while, and leave footprints on our heart, and we are never the same.

Like jarrettsf, I had my doubts, but I was throroughly entertained when I rushed the show yesterday afternoon. It's always great to see a uniformly talented cast who are engaged and singing and acting their hearts out right in front of you, in a show that is coherent and well-constructed. And this is coming from someone who used to switch the radio from the Oldies station when Frankie Valli's songs came on.

I'd always heard that people who didn't like musicals liked it because it was almost like a play with music (which is a horrible misrepresentation) and I was never impressed with the cast album (which I feel is poorly produced and lacking the energy of the live show). I guess it's better to have low expectations than high. :)
I just love how much the cast seems to love each other.
Can't wait to go back. Next weekend I'll have done rush four weekends in a row. I have a real ticket for March 20th - I'm really excited to see Frankie's monkey dance in "I Go Ape" and the whole part at the back of the stage during "Dawn". I've just been imagining those parts...

Saw the show again on Thursday. Des was there, it was very exciting to meet him.
The cast is going to be on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno in two weeks! (I'm sure you all saw that already) But hooray! I can't wait to see them.

Well now that we know that the SF company is the 1st touring company. When is their last day in the city before continuing on with the "Sherry" tour? I know that tickets are being sold until Sun 5/6 and a 730pm preformance was added to that day. Because of that I'm assuming 5/6 is their last day, and it's cutting it close to the start of the LA engagement, unless they can stick one more week in. Does anyone have any insight on this?
Man I'm going to be going through Jersey Boys withdrawl after that day if it is. Although it would be cool if they got the 2nd touring company together by then and they started off in SF too and take advantage of the summer tourist season.
