After watching her on that MTv show I would be surprised if she has the brain power to walk and chew gum at the same time. How she'll be ablt to sing, remember her lines, act, and dance all at once on a live stage is beyond me.

she is a great singer and solo artist but i dont see her as bway material ... i dont think she can dance like millie should ... we dont want another "melanie show"

There is not enough time in the world for me to go off about Jessica Simpson. I really believe she belongs on the "short bus". I'm positive this is some ridiculous rumour. Also, she's all of 4'11", so I'm not sure she's tall enough to be on stage at all, let alone as Millie.

Wow I'm assuming some people have seen her on MTV's Newly weds......Oh my I definately can't imagine her being able to take all that physical work 8 nights a week.

I think her voice is just a little TOO powerful.

Oh she can dance...she did a chorus line in HS...I don't know which part I saw it on one of those biography shows. The character who holds the really long note.

Al, just a note on the height bit. You say Jessica Simpson is 4'11" so you're "not sure she's tall enough to be on stage at all." Just a reminder, Kristin Chenoweth is also 4'11". Not to defend Jessica Simpson - I am not a fan of throwing 'stars' into roles when there are so many talented unknowns out there.
