Hello everyone, not sure if this was posted here already or not, I searched for ir and couldn't find any info on the message boards.
Anyways, my question is about the seating options for Jitney. The 30 under 30 offers the very first row of orchestra or side mezzanine. I've been to the Samuel J. Friedman for Heisenberg but I got stage seating and the impression I got is that the first row in orchestra is considerably lower than the stage, and I've had a terrible experience at something rotten' first row. Do they change the stage height from play to play?
How far up is the stage if you are on the first row? Will mezzanine be better for this one?
Thanks.

I used to be a subscriber @ MTC- the stage at the Friedman always seemed VERY high to me (I even had issues seeing the rear of the set for Come Back Little Sheba), but I wasn't too crazy about the sound in the Mezzanine.
Not much help, I know. Hopefully some other people chime in.
I've sat in the side mezzanine at that theater a couple of times, and I don't remember any sound issues. I remember being toward the front, though. Great view.

I sat front row for The Father and the stage was at eye level or lower. had no issues or complaints about it whatsoever.
Heisenberg was an odd setup in general I think, but the stage did look a lot higher than usual (i sat on the stage, though).

Thanks for all the responses, ended up going with side mezzanine, feel like it's the safer bet, definitely don't want a repeat of Something Rotten.
cheers!
My problem with front row at the Friedman is not the height of the stage, but rather how little space there is between the seats and the stage. If you're sitting in the front row, you're so close that your chin practically rests on the stage floor. I ended up with front row seats for Fool For Love and felt that I couldn't appreciate the full stage picture because I was just too close.
