This is a fabulous read - almost as enjoyable as Diary of a Mad Playwright, James Kirkwood's own account of the original production of Legends.
The article is in two parts. Link for Part II is about midway down the page on Part I. Enjoy!

Well now I know why Joan Collins was out when I saw Legends in East Lansing.
I thoroughly enjoyed Kirkwood's book and I loved reading Collins' diary as well. I had no idea this was going on behind the scenes. Maybe Collins and Evans should consider a re-make of "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane."
Well, you know what they say: if you don't have anything nice to say about anybody, come sit by me!

This was a fun read. I never believed the two of them when they were on "Larry King" and tried to make nice nice. They've always hated each other.
Sadly, I actually saw this godawful "play." There were zero laughs.
For what it's worth, at the stage door Linda Evans was super nice and Joan Collins was a class A bitch....to the 4 people who were there waiting.
