I'm fairly certain I read that the Final Contestants sign an AFTRA contract and are paid per performance...
Joanna Pacitti, the next decades:
Star-to-be ("NYC") in the 2011 production of ANNIE.
Grace in the 2015 production of ANNIE
Miss Hannigan in the 2025 production of ANNIE.
ok, I can't see Felicia winning.. but I don't think she is bad by any means, she def has a pop voice

I know they should not have disqualified Joanna
Based on her performances up to that point she shouldn't have been put through anyway. Simon said during the initial round of Hollywood Week that if you forget the words, you're out, and I think that should carry through to the rest of the week, particularly when you do it two or three times, like Joanna did. She simply did not stand out, as evidenced also by the lack of coverage of her performances.

You can see the pictures here (https://www.nypost.com/photos/galleries/tv/americanidol/pp_20090213_idol_joanna_pacitti/photo02.htm)...but I loved the caption which is the real reason I posted this:
"The disqualified "Idol" contestant has certainly grown up since she first became a national sensation from her starring roll in the Broadway revival of "Annie" at age 12."

What kind of roll did she have in Annie, a kaiser, poppyseed, or maybe a sushi roll? Personally, I would prefer to have a ROLE on Broadway, as opposed to just having some bread or fish products.
