Remember the girl from the Annie Revival who was fired? I heard she is now trying to move into the recording industry and am wondering if she changed her last name or something because I cant find an official site or anything.. If anyone knows what shes up to or any websites that would be awesome!

Did you know that she adopted the dog that was playing Sandy and got fired around the same time she did?

She used to visit the old AOL Playbill chatroom. Her screenname was Zapjo - a combination of her name and the dog's name - Zappa.

You could always try emailing her at [e-mail] and see if she still has that account!

She still has her last name. If you go onto search engines and write in her name, the official site will pop up as will many photos of her now... she is like a beauty queen. She certainly grew up. She said she doesn't want a theater life anymore...which is a shame because she actually had a ton of talent.

I agree. I wish she had continued in theatre cause she had so much talent. It's really a shame. I bet the experience of Annie was such a hard one that theatre just became something she didn't love anymore. But who knows.

Joanna was on an MTV program which ran for one season called My First Year. It followed new artists around trying to make it in the business. Yes she was on the Leagally Blonde S.track as well as in the movie....it was her song and that was considered first for the title song...but didn't make the cut.
In the program Joanna said that Annie was the worst and best thing that ever happened to her. it made her realize what she really wanted to do in life which was sing.

and to correct an above post
Bill Berloni (the Sandy trainer) gave Zappa (Joanna's Sandy) to her after it was decided that Cidy Lou (Sandy from Annie Warbucks) worked better with Brittny Kissinger...Zappa was a VERY big dog. Joanna performed in Raligh(?) NC as Annie with Zappa directed by, oh jeeze what's name BIG BRAIN FART!!!. He replaced Tom Hewwit in Rocky Horror. He's married to Charlot d'Amboise. I can't think of his name sorry.
