John Cameron Mitchell Tony intro?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone's found video online of John Cameron Mitchell's introduction, before he came out to accept his special Tony Award. I've found video of his acceptance speech, but I was curious to hear what was said when he was introduced.

(I'm disappointed that we weren't able to see them get their awards "live". I guess I can sort of understand it if they had to do JCM's during a commercial, since he is less well known, but gosh, if you can't be on camera to receive your lifetime achievement award, when can you be?!)

Thanks from me too.  

I cannot believe he (or Tommy Tune) was not included in the live telecast. That was heartbreaking.  Yes, heartbreaking-that is not an overstatement.  I've been a Hedhead forever and I was looking forward to the Tonys since they were announced just to see him. Instead we get another Jersey Boy performance, a terrible Fnding Neverland performance, and some other stuff that made me mad that night, but I can't even remember right now cause we had field day and I'm shot.

I was watching this on Jordan Roth's periscope live and it didn't click right away but I imagine he was pointing at Cerveris in the audience as the drag queen that he knew.

John is just adorable. I could watch clips of him all day (this may happen frequently).

Pardon if this was answered elsewhere but did he get a Tony statue last year?
He said he was going to keep this one next to his other one. He isn't listed as a producer on IBDB.

That was the conclusion I was coming to as well.
The winners search on the Tony website only lists the Special Tony for him.

If that was the case then it was awfully nice of whomever to do that for John. I can't imagine I would want to give up my Tony :)
