Strange, I didn't see this posted anywhere yet. Previews start 2/21/11 with an opening night of 3/22.

He tried out in Toronto for 2 wks as well. Toronto Star critic only gave him half marks. From what I can tell it's based around the book "Pimps, Hos, Playa, Hatas, ans all the rest of My Hollywood Friends (My Life). Actually a funny and interesting book- he dishes on some of his name co-stars and talks about his incredibly disfunctionable family.

I hate that title.

I will be in NYC Memorial Day weekend. I wonder what the likelihood of this extending is? I know they are advertising "12 weeks only!" but...

Lukewarm here in Chicago too. And the reviewer REALLY likes Leguizamo, so this sounds really weak.

Some of that stuff — though entertaining, in a gossipy kind of way — can hit the cutting-room floor without tears. So can some of the self-serving video clips of Leguizamo doing his own gun-twirling in “Romeo + Juliet.” Indeed, the journey through almost all of his films (with the rather striking exception of ‘Moulin Rouge') is not only too long, but forces the show into overly predictable rhythms. One grows similarly tired of a device where the phone rings and his agent calls. Several times.
