I'm going to NYC in the fall and wondered if JLY renewed his contract on JERSEY BOYS or when is his contract ending with the show--thanks!

Assuming his contract was a 1-year contrct, he will still be in the show. I doubt he's entered negotiations for an extension yet (unless of course it was a 9-month contract, and then it's anyone's guess).

It is a one-year contract, and he is scheduled to be in Jersey Boys until October 6. If he extends, any info will be posted here:

I would guess if he does extend his contract he won't do matinees. He's sometimes misses Tuesdays to give his voice a rest.

???? If he's only missing Tuesdays, why would he skip matinees? I'd think he'd want to skip Tuesdays, since that's when he feels he needs the rest. I'm guessing he'd keep it to his current terms (but with a higher pay, naturally). I'm guessing he takes his vocal rest when he needs it, and a person's voice doesn't adhere to schedules.

I don't think he is planning on leaving the show for awhile. I think I read somewhere that he wishes to either stay a bit longer or do the tour but I could be wrong.
