Does anyone know where I can get a story outline of the off Broadway musical "Johnny Guitar, The musical"?

The official website has only a brief synopsis. I'm looking for a more detailed version of the story so I'll know what part I may be right for.

La Mirada theatre will be doing the show in La Mirada, CA (south of LA). The original director and most of the Off-Broadway leads will be in the show.

"It does what a musical is supposed to do; it takes you to another world. And it gives you a little tune to carry in your head. Something to take you away from the dreary horrors of the real world. A little something for when you're feeling blue. You know?"

A Theater group here in Houston will be doing it. A friend of mine is directing.

I'm thinking if I get cast it will be in the trio and the quartet, which would be great.

It was an old Western before it was a musical, so you might be able to find a synopsis that way.

Rent the movie. You will feel like you have died and gone to Camp Heaven.

The whole thing is just so downright queer. Joan Crawford has never been quite so butch (and that is saying a LOT) as when she is trying to be girly as they tie her up and put her in a buckboard wearing a glow-in-the-dark white dress and ride her out to some tree to hang her.

Mercedes McCambridge gives Joan a run for the butch money, but it is really no contest.

If I were you I would visit DanielTorres.net
He is a Broadway performer currently in my favorite show THE WOMAN IN WHITE. He has Johnny Guitar listed on his resume and has a sound clip from the demo recording he made for the show. My friends and I have emailed him and he always writes back right away. He's a very sweet guy and will answer any questions you have about the show. His email is listed at the site and there is also a message board where you can post questions. Hope this helps! I don't know anything about the show but I like the sound clip. Sounds fun. Goodluck!
