Ah, Mistress, we know of your situation. However, you live in NYC and I'm in the rarified climes of Long Island. Getting to the city in a wheelchair was possible (as I learned) but a great challenge. The experience gave me great respect for those who roll throough life in chairs.

no, the aids walk asks you to set a personal goal but people partake in the walk even when they raise nothing-- you could always just give five bucks yourself. my personal goal is $300, Ive raised $60 so far including an offline donation.

We now have eleven walkers-- huzzah!! If every walker can raise just $100 (that's four friends donating $25), BroadwayWorld will have raised $1,100.

There is no minimum or maximum, of course, and all I can ask is that everybody do what s/he can... but the more, the merrier!!

I just want to point out that theres also WalkAmerica this month for the March of Dimes and the Revlon Run/Walk for Women. Im participating in the WalkAmerica one, but I wont be in town for the Run/Walk for Women.
