SirNotApperaing,
I'm looking forward to your review of Justin for after all, Shuler will "not be appearing". Also, the fact that you have not seen Shuler might be better for an unbiased, un-compared (is that a word) review.

Does it really make any difference who's playing what in that awful show? A lousy show is a lousy show is a lousy show.
Since we're already at page 3, I guess it does... for us at least. Thanks for your concern though.
SirNotAppearing, looking forward to your review.
Elke, I gather by your message that you are like me in the fact that you like the show?
On a side note, what is it about this show that people don't like. I know alot of people were soured by the scathing reviews.
yeah it seems the majority of people that go seem to love it, the house seems always to be crazy, i mean people cant really base their opinions off of the reviews

Yes, I sure do. :) I think it makes for an excellent night out and after all that's the main purpose of theater: entertainment for everyone, not just for a handful of Broadway buffs and critics.
Well said Elke! It does make for an excellent evening of entertainment. I don't even wait for the reviews of shows anymore. I don't care what the critics think. I go to make my own opinion. Look at Blood Brothers. The reviews were poor to mixed but the great word of mouth kept them going for 2 years. Yes it's true stunt casting also helped, but there was a great word of mouth for that show.
I just saw him last week and I was impressed. I was very disappointed to miss Roger Bart, but once I got over it, this guy is really good. I thought he was great in the role. Silly, funny, crazy at the times he is supposed to be crazy.
I don't like knowing too much about a show before I go to see it, so since returning from my trip I have gone on-line and read a lot of reviews and watched clips of the show and from what I have gathered from mass opinion I didn't miss much by missing Bart, but I still would have liked to have seen it myself.
