Good point, Leander.
And the Les Mis revival has been extended only into the summer. LM is opening in the fall, I believe. So theoretically, Norm Lewis could do it. Even if Les Mis continues, Lewis could be replaced.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

The role of Flounder has been cast.
As I said on another board, by a young boy by the name of Cody Hanford.

Yeah, Leander does make a good point, I never thought about that.

I'd like to hear a deeper voice in the role of Triton than Jonathan Pryce's. He's a great actor, but voice wise I can't see him playing that part. Phillip Quast would be perfect voice for this role!

Well, if we're going to have to look at whoever plays Triton without a shirt on, my vote goes to Taye Diggs. He may not be the world's greatest actor and he may be entirely the wrong age but man, I would certainly shell out $100 to look at him without a shirt on for 2+ hrs.

If Pryce does take the role its the biggest reason for me to see this.

Read the thread a bit closer....
Burke Moses would be quite funny as Triton.
How about Howard McGillan?

What about Chuck Wagner?
BSoBW2: I punched Sondheim in the face after I saw Wicked and said, "Why couldn't you write like that!?"

It seems like Disney is enjoying "making" stars over taking pre-existing ones. Maybe they save more money that way.
Regardless - what about getting some Bryan Stokes Mitchell with a muscley body suit??

Hmmmm I'm actually liking Howard McGillian as King Triton never thought about it before.

I haven't seen McGillan in Phantom, but from hearing him on various cast recordings would his voice be a little high for Triton?
When I said Burke Moses was FAIRLY robust I was purposely making a gross understatement. The man is enormous.
