No, that was a film that first John Belushi, then Sam Kinison, then John Candy, and finally Chris Farley were supposed to star in about an Eskimo. This is a straight-up Kinison bio.

Yes. I'd like to see Gad expand his range. He's mastered the fat nerd/doofus/slob/dork part. I think we've seen it.

I don't get lumping nerds et al with slobs, but that's cool. By dint of his being fat, he'll always be playing a fat whatever unless he makes some lifestyle changes. At any rate, it's probably less about his choices so much as his offers. I mean, I'd go out with him if asked me, but I doubt his phone is ringing off the hook for romantic lead parts. And a bipoic of Kinson would certainly be his biggest film role to date.

I think Gad has mastered the art of playing an idiot (to which it's time for him to move on from). I don't think weight had anything to do with it.

He's definitely getting high profile work. I thought he was brilliant in BOM, but I've increasingly lost interest in him since he seems content to replicate that.

I guess I can kind of see calling Kinison a slob, but a doofus/dork/nerd? Gad's already playing Wozniak in jOBS (and has gotten better word-of-mouth for his work than the film asa whole has) and Kinison, while the same physical type as Gad sure, is hardly the same person.
