For those who have had to cancel Jujamcyn tickets for performances like Moulin Rouge and Hadestown during COVID, how long from the time of the web form submission did it take you receive the refund? Were there any hurdles? I know some folks earlier were having issues contacting SeatGeek directly for refunds and being given the runaround.

Waited 6 weeks Melissa25? Email the execs if you don't hear within a reasonable time.

I had a terrible time getting refund for Lehman from Ticketmaster on 2 occasions. All Nederlander shows come with refund guarantee. Filled out form on TM only to get a TM denial telling me to sell the ticket because the "event organizer didn't authorize refunds." That defied specific guarantee that Nederlander posted in their BroadwayDirect.com website.
Even after I replied with a link to the Neder refund policy, the TM rep still refused. I forwarded that email to the TM CEO along with the Neder policy. I had a refund notice sent to me in 36 hours with a refund posted in 5 days. SeatGeek shouldn't be as difficult as TM. Telecharge is the best at processing refunds.

I've done a few refund requests by emailing jujamcyn@seatgeek.com, and the response time has been quick.

Thanks Jay and Taffy I have noted your tips for future reference. I thought 12 weeks was excessive but figured par for the course with this new ticketing outfit. And agree that Telecharge is the best.

Wow that info is helpful. I had a similar issue.
I requested a refund on Oct 06 via the website. Never heard back so sent emails to Jujamcyn and SeatGeek. Both said to contact the other as it was the other’s duty to refund. Well, Nov 01 comes around and no refund. I send another set of emails - one SeatGeek employee said they have no record of the refund request, another said the ticket was returned on Nov 01 and a refund would be issued within 14 days. Come Nov 16, no refund. Another set of emails to both and finally Jujamcyn overrides the refund from SeatGeek and I get it on Nov 20. Normally I have no issues but this was awful.

Has anyone who requested a refund for Funny Girl last month when Lea Michele was out with COVID actually received their money back yet?

Has anyone successfully exchanged a ticket for Hadestown?

I know emergencies happen, things come up last minute that are beyond your control, but do people just not read where it says "all tickets are final sale"? Unless an emergency comes up, you should be ready to go to the show on the day you purchased the ticket for. You put the employees in a sticky situation because they literally tell you all tickets are final sale.

I think we all understand that policy, but I also understand (mainly from this board) that the ticket services will sometimes work with you. I've never had to do this, but if something came up I wouldn't hesitate to make a call, ask politely for an exchange, and accept any answer I receive.

It might not, but it’s related to the general topic of refunds or exchanges. :)
