Julia Murney as Elphaba -- so not your normal Wicked thread.#0

It's better.
Yeah, I'm starting a thread. A Wicked thread. *gasp* It's like my second one ever.
The day has come.
And I know there are lots of other threads, but Julia deserves a brand spankin' new one for her big day; her first performance is tomorrow in Cincinnati.
If anyone from the boards is fortunate enough to go, tomorrow or at any time throughout her run, please post about it in detail -- and stage door pictures will also be much appreciated! You are all so lucky to have the opportunity to see her; she's going to be amazing.
Break a leg, Julia. We love you!!!
(edited because I don't know what day it is.)

re: Julia Murney as Elphaba#5

re: Julia Murney as Elphaba#6
Posted: 3/7/06 at 1:55pmI wont be seeing her until May 3, but I am so uber excited it's crazy!
re: Julia Murney as Elphaba#7
Posted: 3/7/06 at 2:21pmi'm seeing her in san diego this summer, she'll probably still be there. i'm scared because i've heard her voice is very vibratto, but i myself have never heard her voice so i will make no judgements because i've also heard good things about her too. i just love this show and i'm hoping for the best. if anyone sees it tomorrow, please post a review!!! :) thank you.

re: Julia Murney as Elphaba#9
Posted: 3/7/06 at 2:29pmI will be seeing it sometime between March 22 and April 9, depending on which day I win the lottery. 3 times for Wicked has already been enough. I am really only going to see Julia. If I don't win, oh well, no biggie.
re: Julia Murney as Elphaba#10
Posted: 3/7/06 at 2:52pmI won't be seeing her until June. That seems like such a long ways off. I really want to see pictures. Now!

It's the 8th. Today's the 7th. I... messed up. :)
She does have a weird vibrato, but I clearly like those. I know some don't agree, but she's got a belt that'll knock your socks off.

Posted: 3/7/06 at 3:25pmSeeing her May 23 in Atlanta and very excited about it. Her voice on Wild Party isn't my favorite, but so many people have said so many good things about her, I'm hoping she will change my mind.

re: Julia Murney as Elphaba#14
Posted: 3/7/06 at 6:19pmI would clearly kill to see her. I LOVE her belt [if you're none too impressed with Wild Party, check out the clips from the CHESS concert on her website - best I've heard "Nobody's Side" done.] and it's about time she gets a huge role like this. I only wish she was taking over on Broadway instead...

re: Julia Murney as Elphaba#16
Posted: 3/7/06 at 8:00pmI'm bringing a Lennon program for her to sign when we see her the 18th, to make me stand out from the other 16-year-old fangirls at stagedoor (rolls eyes).
Percy: Sink me! If it isn't Javvurt!
Javert: Zsah-vair, it's pronounced Zsah-vair.
Pecry: But it's spelled J-A-V-E-R-T Javvurt.
Javert: Repeat after me Zsah...Zsah....
Percy: Oh! Zsa-Zsa! Like the Gabor sister! Well I personally have always prefered Eva.
Javert: (Looks for gun)

re: Julia Murney as Elphaba#19
Posted: 3/7/06 at 10:17pmI'll be seeing her this Thursday, March 9th! I'm going to the matinee and am HOPING that she won't be out already. (Never know, with a new role, might take off the matinee to watch and learn some more.) I'll post at length after I see her. Can't wait. I saw her in The Wild Party and she absolutely blew me away. I hadn't been that in love with a new belt performer since Alice/Emily in Side Show. She is going to blow the roof off of every theater she plays in!
