re: Julia Murney as Elphaba

..... is halfway down the page too hard for people to find?

Once her run gets up and going, I don't see what this thread would have other than thoughts on her performance, but... whatever.

I intended for this to be about her performance; aka reviews and to wish her luck.

re: Julia Murney as Elphaba

Let this be all about Julia.

I want her audience to be more mature.

Yeah, making ANOTHER Wicked thread. That's a great idea. It's not like starting a new thread about a show that's been open on Broadway over for 2.5 years and on tour for almost a year and this is the umpteenth set of reviews from maybe 3 local papers. That's MORE than enough to warrant a new thread to piss off the rest of the board and make them think we're just as bad as the Idina fangirls. re: Julia Murney as Elphaba

Anyway, this line made me smile:

"And don't forget "Company" waiting in the wings at Playhouse if you're aching for a Broadway quality musical and have missed out on "Wicked" - or even if you haven't."

Cincinnati is very lucky right now. I have to try lotto for this while I'm there, just in case. I've never braved a Wicked lotto before, but...it's Julia.

I'm just sad that she won't be in Toronto for the tour. I was so excited when I found out she was joining the tour. But her last city is either one or two before Toronto.

I wish I could see her!

God, finally something that people around the country are getting that New York is not... at least until later. I feel special.

re: Julia Murney as Elphaba

no, its not that its hard to find anything half way down the page and through FIVE pages but there are SOOOO many other comments on here that i thought having a thread that was dedicated PURELY to reviews of people who have seen the show would be nice. i don't really want to take the time to read people's thoughts about how they think she WILL be in the role..or how she looks green or that she looks older...i just want to read reviews. why should i have to read 50 other COMMENTS when all i want is the reviews? i honestly don't have time to sift through every single comment.
i just want the facts, jack!

We only need one.

re: Julia Murney as Elphaba

I really don't want Julia to become the next Idina. I don't want her to become overdone and for everyone to get annoyed with hearing about her. She doesn't deserve that. Not that Idina does either, but that's kinda irreversible.

No. I would hate for Julia to become the next Stephanie.

Seriously, next SJB post I will flip!

re: Julia Murney as Elphaba

BSo, maybe SJB became Idina.....

Ponder that!

Anyway, people get annoyed with multiple threads on the same topic, especially when they're all concentrated. And I don't want people to get annoyed with Julia just 'cause she's Elphaba. Because I love her.
