re: Julia Murney as Elphaba

lfae, sorry it took me so long to get back to you. She was doing an interview with Seth on Sirius and said her contract was for six months, which puts her end in September. She also mentioned the cities she was going to, and Toronto wasn't one of them. I'm hoping she extends her contract, but after six months of not only performing 8 shows a week, but also travelling around the country, I can understand her not extending it.

The *cough* MANY times I saw Lennon, *ALL* my mother could ever talk about was how Julia totally owned "Beautiful Boy" - that note was surreal.

It was!

I was like "MOM! JULIA! SONG!" and got really excited when it was coming up, and my mom was like ".... what's the big deal? Why are you... fidgety?"

That's okay CanadianSnowbird, everyone else answered in any case! :)

I think I'll just sit and cry now...why do I have to be stuck down here? I'd give anything to see Julia as Elphaba. Seriously, all you people in the US are damn lucky. Grr re: Julia Murney as Elphaba

re: Julia Murney as Elphaba

LOL. The YouTube post Craig made is no longer tacked up on top, so it's ok again?

The foof thing.... hah. I still want one.

If she comes to Broadway it'll be August or September..

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

re: Julia Murney as Elphaba

I'd be really sad if she went on as Elphaba in New York, after I'm going there in the summer. That would mean I'd miss her twice.

I get to see her April 13th in Boston and honestly I cannot wait. I love, love, love her.
Am I cut out to spend my time this way?

re: Julia Murney as Elphaba

It's very tempting to make that my avatar.

That's the only thing I don't like about her being in Wicked, is the following that tends to come along with that (no offense, anyone).
