Evie, and any other Kunze fans, we are having a fanclub lunch gathering in Sacramento on Sun. Aug 17th. You are welcome to join us. I just need to know how many people. We will have a neat little Kunze souvenir and perhaps, just perhaps, a "mystery guest" stop will in. For more information email me at maggiwun@yahoo.com.
She's one of the few Wicked girls that I actually think has loads of talent and will actually do something with herself (SJB being the other).
I've recently come to realize that as well.
Yeah, I agree with everyone about that not being the best picture of her. But still, it got me excited. That poor woman's gorgeousness does not translate well to pictures.
I can't go, but I love Ms. Murney's music as well. However, I know that you Murney fans are going to be impressed with Mr. Kunze as well. I'm a real fan of his having seen him in Jesus Christ Superstar. What a Jesus! Enjoy!
I'm seeing it on Wednesday. I'm leaving for my flight in like 2 hours. (No, I'm not actually flying out for this, happy coincidence.) I'm really excited.
I see they are doing the original staging and original costume design...
Wish I could get there to see it
Thank you for posting the picture and the links!!!

Did anyone get to go last night? I would love to hear reviews!
"This table, he is over one hundred years old. If I could, I would take an old gramophone needle and run it along the surface of the wood. To hear the music of the voices. All that was said." - Doug Wright, I Am My Own Wife
Does anyone know if there is a "stage door" type thing at Music Circus? I love Julia, am going Friday night, wanted to get her to sign a photo for me but the setup of the place is kind of strange (ie--there are all kinds of doors the actors could go in and out of). Any help would be appreciated! Joyce in Sacramento, who is thrilled Julia is actually coming here!
Saw it. Loved it. Great production. Julia was fantastic, as was Eric. I had some reservations about the music direction (in some of the military bits any trace of harmony was inaudible, and the orchestra sounded a bit... tinny), but overall it was a great show. The direction was fantastic (I was skeptical about this being done in the round).
And Julia rocks "A New Argentina," exuding confidence.
