She's gonna rock some hardcore socks. And totally loving that they're adopting the colorful font (from the London revival). EVIIIIIIITA!

Here's Julia Murney doing part of "Buenos Aires" in Seth Rudetsky's Broadway 101. This part was in Broadway 101 to simulate what goes on in a quick change. But it's a little sneak-peek if anybody hasn't seen it.

She looks great, and I'm sure she will do wonderful!
I have always been interested in seeing a stage version of Evita. It came to a theater near my house a few years ago and was unable to attend.
I almost was going to make a visit to San Francisco this summer (because the city looks gorgeous), and go see this too, but it turned out to be too much money. Stupid loans.

Wow.

I worked for the Music Circus YEARS ago and loved working there.. I saw some great shows (this was during the Lunch/Heartbeats/Chess/Nunsense years... It was also the year I met Susan Egan (she did South Pacific) and fell in love with her (in a vocal way...)
I wish I still lived in Sacramento every year Music Circus comes around so I could see these shows. I am so jealous.
I love Julia.

"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."

I will be there for three performances next week! Haven't seen Julia Murney yet, but am looking forward to it. I'm especially looking forward to hearing Eric Kunze as Che.

I tend to think she doesn't photograph well most of the time. And those weird eyes of hers should never be photographed from below like that.

She's one of the few Wicked girls that I actually think has loads of talent and will actually do something with herself (SJB being the other).
Also, I think she's beautiful, but that picture doesn't flatter.

I only ever saw Idina in "Wicked," but of all the YouTube clips of subsequent Elphabas, hers was the only one I got excited about.
I've never seen her live, though. I'd love to see her in this.
