Well, maybe Julie's Greenroom has given me false hope. But in the episodes, if any of you have seen them, Julie sings. Maybe it's her charm and the legendary actor that she is, but I would actually pay to see her on the stage singing in her 'sing speech' sound. Could this be the beginning of a possible return (even in a feature/supporting role).
Yes I know, the fact is that I want Julie back on the stage. I'm just wondering if any of you were convinced after watching it that she could do a show.
I remember reading about a surgery that could be done to bring Julie Andrews voice back. It said it would only be temporary, but if it actually could happen, it would be the greatest moment on my young lifetime. I love the small singing she does in Princess Diaries 2.
I've only watched a clip or two, but I would pay to see Julie Andrews on stage in any role, just as I would for Angela Lansbury, Maggie Smith, or Judi Dench. Part of it is because I'm in awe of their talents and achievements, but I'm not afraid to admit that some of it is from the butterflies in the stomach and goose bumps you get from seeing actors of that level take on a role (and the roles they tend to play).

She'd make a sensational Madame A. in A Little Night Music. The role is classy, funny, and doesn't require a huge voice. It would be fabulous to see her back on stage.
