My actor friends tell me you want to be in an original show. Replacing someone isn't the same. It's all about originating parts - Tony awards and attention.

Sure, you have more job security going into 'Wicked,' but it's not the same as being in an original musical - and there are not that many! - how many shows coming in are looking for a Benko type?

I think it's very smart doing a show that isn't relying on you to sell tickets. As brilliant as Julie is in Funny Girl we have all seen the numbers.

According to Julie on IG in a response to someone's comment about her doing Harmony when she leaves FG, she said it's a 2-week workshop and they are working around her FG schedule. From what I've read, this is not a starring role - the role of Mary (Sierra Boggess) is larger and still isn't all that terrific. Again, from what I've read. JMO, but Julie is better off continuing to ride the wave of FG as long as she can (which she seems to be doing on her IG).

It's a New York Times Critic Pix and a Drama Desk winner for Best Book.

Maybe it's the subject matter that you find offensive?

I trust Julie's judgment more than yours.

Good for Julie but not a starring role and she's replacing Jessie Davidson leaving to do the Pretty Woman tour - she sings a duet with Sierra in the show. Chip Zien and Sierra Boggess have the starring roles in Harmony. Rumor - Barrymore Theatre spring '23

And yet, we now are told it's a two-week workshop, not Broadway. Will it come to B'way? Well, they've been trying for, I don't know, twenty-five years, so we'll just have to wait and see if it actually does.

Star ? The role is so small. Maybe twenty minutes of stage time. As I recall the character has a song with Sierras character ala In His Eyes from Jekyll and Hyde
