Julius LaRosa .. renowned singer,  WNEW D.J. ... actor & show business personality & my friend passed away 5/12  at the age of 86 ....

I had the chance to do a production of Kismet with him back in the early 80's. He was a talented and extremely kind man. I am sorry to hear of his passing.

I don't know why it is not being reported anywhere ... Julie died in Wisconsin ... I hope it will be in the newspapers soon .....

Strange it's not being reported. The on-air firing of him by Arthur Godfrey was a huge media event of the time.

 

By the way, it's not listed on wikipedia either.

He seemed like a nice guy, and he had a very nice voice.
