No, if it was going to go to someone else, it should've gone to Rick Lyon, he's much better than Joel Grey, or for someone in Wicked, Norbert.

I must say that I am going to REALLY miss Kristin in the show and in the role of Galinda. I think she should have won the Tony this year, although I love Idina too, Kristin had the much harder part vocally and acting wise. She really brings something to the role, and not only is she an incredible actress, but she is an incredible singer with a personality. I am going to try and see her again this weekend, by lottery....But I really think that Jennifer Laura Thompson has LARGE shoes to fill.

yeah i think J-la has large shoes to fill too. they said that same thing for harvey when he left hairspray, and micheal seems to be doing fine.

Watch one day i will be down in the city and they will be changing the posters without Kristin's name! I don't think i could bare to watch! They won't take down the orignal pictures outside the theatre right?

i imagine they will- they did for thoroughly modern millie. on another note Why is it whenever a replacement comes in its always 2 days later as opposed to the following day?

Wicked has been waiting to be produced/been constructed for almost 4 years before it opened on Broadway. Cheno and Idina stuck with the show for over 3 of those 4 years. Its shocking she would leave after doing only 8 1/2 months of it. It just seemed so sudden.

It really sucks that Cheno is leaving because I REALLY want to see her in it, but I understand why she is, I mean she has 4 movies to work on, not to mention that she's doing Alice In Wonderland...the opera in 2006...Busy busy schedule for such a small woman, and also those 2 concerts at Carnegie hall. I SO WISH I COULD SEE THE PERFORMANCE THE 18TH....I agree with the couple people who said "For Good" will be heartfelt...I mean if it was heartfelt after the Tony's, it's gonna be terrible with many tears the 18th...it makes me sad thinking about it.

to answer the question about why it's 2 days after...Monday is a dark day for most B'way shows, and most of the time people leave it's on a Sunday. I'm not sure if they'll take down all the pictures yet though....look at the Nederlander...
Idina: Somehow I got myself to the stage, came out at the end of the show, and I had some kind of closure.
