Just finished listening to the Brooklyn CD - LIVE!

WOW! I'm still shaking.. that was amazing!! that was good.. I'm going to put some small sound clips from the CD on my website soon so check it out..

The CD was 75% of the show on Broadway, and it really does make you feel like you are seating in the Plymouth.. Well here is:

My review.. (THIS IS NOT THE COMPLETE SONG LIST)

02. Heart Behind These Hands - GREAT! Much better then the Sampler CD
05. Christmas Makes Me Cry - Karen's song! Amazing!
06. Not A Sound - Lovely, Soft and powerful at the same time
07. Brooklyn Grew Up - I love this song! (Eden: Daddy!!!)
09. Once Upon A Time - One word: E - D - E - N !
11. Superlover - Ramona's turn! Terrific!
13. Brooklyn In The Blood - Love the name of the song! :)
15. Magic Man - I'm very glad they added this song to the Bway Production (it wasnt in Denver)
18. I Never Knew His Name - Again, Eden at her best
19. The Truth - Terrific, but no War-Scene
21. Raven - And like OUAT = One word: R - A - M - O - N - A!!
22. Sometimes - Love the lyrics of this song
24. Love Me Where I Live - Again, Ramona is great in this
27. Streetsinger - My favorite! haha :)
29. Heart Behind These Hands (Reprise) - Perfect ending

yes.. i know.. it's not fare.. i'm a Brooklyn fan.. but still..
I give it a 10+/10
This is going to replace the almost-burned-from-being-overplayed sampler cd in my stereo.

dude stop bashing!! I'm really glad you enjoyed it!! I hope to get the cast recording soon!! prbly tomorrow, it's not released yet over here in CA!! damn!! I went looking yesterday to see if it came out early, but no luck!! so hopefully tomorrow!

I LOVE the show! :) haha lol
You see, BKLYN and me is more then a relationship.. It's a way of LIFE!
I like it because the music is great, the cast is terrific, and the story is just lovely..

PS---I actually did enjoy Brooklyn and ordered 2 CD's (they're in the mail) for Xmas gifts for the people who saw it with me.

I listened to the snippet on your site, Tiny-Toon. Eden sounded much better live when I saw her. I don't know. Maybe it's just because my speakers suck on the computer.

why is the cd called brooklyn live? is it from a live show or just recorded in a studio live..i dont really understand it.

It was recorded live at the theatre.

No, the CD was not recorded at the Plymouth. The CD was recorded live in a studio with 100 brooklyn fans.
