So I was looking at buying tickets for South Pacific today, and the seating chart startled me a little bit since I've never seen a show at Lincoln Center. So the seats wrap around the sides of the stage? Are there certain seats to avoid then? Telecharge was pulling up seats in the section on the far left. Are these bad seats? Would I be seeing the show from the side then?
You wont know how its staged until it opens. The seats all offer a great view, though most shows in the Beaumont are typically staged toward the middle with some action on the sides. You will see everything fine, you will just get a lot of views of actors profiles.

Thank you. Would it be better to sit in the far left & right sections or farther back in one of the ctr/left or ctr/right sections? Also, if you sit in the far right or far left sections, is it better to sit farther back to get a better angle, or does that not really matter?
I wanna go and see Noah! :)
I got my student tickets for first-preview, March 1. Woo-hoo!

I want to see this sooo badly! Kelli and Matt back doing a show together again? And South Pacific? Ugh! <3
You could sit in the lobby and have a good view at the Beaumont. I have sat literally every where in that theatre from the last row in the Mezz & both extreme sides of the orchestra to about the 5th row dead center.
Personally I would select the middle of the center section. The very first few rows are low down anyway.

Thanks for your help myManCape! One last question. Does the loge overhang the orchestra at all? I've been looking at a lot of seating charts, and none of them seem to mention that. I assume it would.
