Who is performing the Special Guest Star track this coming week? Are they just putting the covers on?
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."

Apparently she sang Hallelujah because someone pledged a $10,000 donation to The Actors Fund if she would do it. Stokes is the President of the Actors Fund, so he introduced her. It was after the show, not during it. Sounds like a win-win for the audience and the Fund to me.

Seems like a good enough reason to me, HorseTears.

I asked on their facebook page who their special guest for this coming week is and I have yet to get a reply.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

According to Playbill, it will be Danielle Herbert this coming week.

That's amazing! Must be nice to have an extra $10,000 just sitting around
But that information should have definitely been mentioned in the article. We need to be reminded now and again that there are still great people out there.

We must have different Gods. My God said "do to others what you would have them do to you". Your God seems to have said "My Way or the Highway".

That's awesome! Kudos to whichever Daddy/Mommy Warbucks (or is it "Stacks" now?) donated the 10k! I was kinda hoping Stokes was going to be joining the cast, but that doesn't seem very likely now that I actually think about it.
And, thank you yfs, for the explanation. You'd think the BWW "journalist" could have included this in his article instead of simply cutting and pasting part of the show's PR boilerplate.
