I love the fact that in alot of posts like this, the one who starts the pointless thread, never responds back even after 30 posts.

The comparison between Ebersole's portrayal of the Beales and Butler's take on Olivia Newton John is intriguing.

Is it too late in the Xanadu previews to restructure the show so that Butler plays "Big ONJ" in the first half and "Little ONJ" in the second half?

This was a good laugh. I think the original poster might be a little intimidated by the responses. Over-all the reply's have been rather nice, considering the post.

Kerry Butler from EugLoven

Wow.... you just suffered foot-in-mouth disease.
Kerry Butler was NOT snubbed of a Tony nomination.
She wasn't ELIGIBLE for the 2006-07 season.
Xanadu is included in the 2007-08 season.
Wait until next year to see her name (possibly) at awards ceremonies.

Recommendation? Don't join BroadwayWorld.com the same day you post an angry message on the boards. You end up sounding insane and easy fodder for persecution. Stick around a while to get a feeling for how this site works... or at least do some research before posting an amateur-themed question.

Oh gosh, Sorry I did not realize the harm I could cause from what I said. I really do not know much about Broadway to be honest. I am from Tulsa Oklahoma and saw my second Broadway show last week with my aunt who lives in new yok. The other show I saw was beauty and the beast and kerry was in that too and I just really like her a lot and I do not know anything about the awards and stuff so i read on this site about the awards and I saw she was not listed. i did not mean to seem angry i just was confused but i guess i do not have a clue since i have not seen other shows and no nothing about other actresses. I just wanted to know more about it since I am not from new york and since my friends know nothing about it either since they also are from tulsa and we are in sixth grade. sorry again i promise i will not post adt all on the boards until i am more aware of bradway and am older!

sorry

for a sixth grader, to see Beauty and the Beast,..you absolutely have no taste!!.
yeah that's right, you heard me.
(gasp!)

(I am just kidding of course) It is great that you were introduced to theatre at such a young age, gypsychontellelace2. Keep coming back to Broadway shows!

gypsychontellelace2, you did absolutely no harm, so you don't really need to apologize. If you read the posts on this board for a while you too will become a Broadway expert and you can join us in giving newbies a hard time.

I do hope you'll reconsider and watch the Tonys. I know it's a pretty boring show, but maybe you can do homework or something during the 2 hours and 45 minutes where there aren't actual performances taking place. We need every viewer we can get this year.
